Feline Kidney Disease 

There are two main types of kidney diseases: chronic kidney disease (CKD) and acute kidney injury (AKI).

Though the most common term to refer to this disease was “renal failure”, the more accurate term that we use these days is “kidney disease” which can be acute or chronic.
