Worms

Your cat can become affected by 2 types of internal parasitic worms: Nematodes (round worms like the ascaris) and Cestodas (flat worms like the teania tapeworm). Symptoms include lethargy, anaemia, diarrhea, loss of appetite and sometimes death. Transmission occurs when a cat ingests the larva or eggs of worms.
